About MOSS

MOSS is a small independent thing made by me, Katie.

It started with Companion

MOSS Companion started as something I was building for my offspring, who struggles with time, transitions and the general nonsense of being expected to know what “in a bit” means.

It needed to be low demand, so Companion is basically a visual aid for the day. A cute one.

Then came the side quest

While making Companion, I went on a side quest and made MOSS Countdown too.

I love widgets, so both apps have been made with that in mind. I like useful things that can sit quietly on a home screen and do their job without demanding a whole performance from you.

I created the original MOSS artwork, with some additional artwork courtesy of my feral offspring, Barly.
